Miscreants loot idols from Temple

Azamgarh: In a broad daylight incident some armed miscreants looted ancient idols from Ram Janaki Temple in Mubarakpur township on Monday.

According to reports, the miscreants made the priest captive on gun point and looted idols of deities made of ‘ashtadhatu’ (alloy of eight metals).

The police reached the incident site after getting information and engaged the dog squad to get any breakthrough.
