Chief Minister reviews Lockdown situation
Restore emergency services in Hospitals while maintaining full protection and taking all precautions: CM
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning to those who hide Covid-19 infection or deliberately spreading it. He said the concerned DMs and SPs would face action if found lax in dealing with such elements.
Taking a review meeting of the situation of lockdown on Monday, the CM said the emergency services in the hospitals should be restored but only after ensuring proper precautions about protection from the Corona infection. “It is a must to keep hospitals free of any infection at this point of time,’’ he added.
He directed the officials to speed up testing in hotspots areas identified by the state administration. He was also apprised of the functionality of 14 testing labs in the state by Principal Secretary, Medical Education. The CM asked to functionalize the lab in Mathura as early as possible. He was also informed that Pilibhit district has become corona-free now. The CM expressed satisfaction that the telemedicine facilities are in place in the state.
Apart from testing in hotspots, the doorstep delivery of essential goods and sanitation in these areas should be taken on priority. It should be launched on such an intensive basis that it is visible to the persons living in these areas, the CM directed. He also asked the officials to make sure that those who have completed 14-day institutional quarantine should be tested of Covid immediately after. Even if they are found without any symptoms, they should be put to 14-day home quarantine, he pointed out adding the home- quarantined persons should be assured of supply of essential goods.
Talking of global economic scenario, CM said that the countries like United States and Japan look desirous of pulling out their investment from China. “We should look it as a business opportunity for our state,’’ he said while directing the Industrial Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, Principal Secretary, MSME and Principal Secretary, Industry to explore it in the larger interest of the state.
He said the wheat purchase season has approached and assured the farmers that the government machinery would spare no effort to ensure the price not less than the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of their produce which according to him is more necessary under the circumstances.
