Jaunpur: In a shootout one person was injured at Sarawan village in Machhalishahar area of Jaunpur district on Friday night. The police arrested four persons.
According to reports, there was an enmity between Jainarayan Yadav and Vipin Yadav over some old issue. Vipin along with his four friends went to Jainarayan’s house and allegedly opened fire to settle the score. His own friend Suraj Pathak sustained bullet injury on his hand in the shootout. Vipin fled from the scene after the incident.
The police reached there immediately after getting information and arrested the four persons. According to the inspector Vijay Kumar Chaurasia, on complaint of Jainarayan an FIR was lodged against Vipin, Pravesh, Suraj, Pawan and Sunil Yadav. Suraj was taken to the community health centre for medical treatment. The arrested persons were sent to jail, while a manhunt has been launched to nab Vipin.
