PM talks to BJP district president to know the situation in Varanasi

 

Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to know the current situation and people’s feelings in his parliamentary constituency. He spoke to the BJP district president Hanshraj Vishwakarma over phone on Thursday to take the feedback in view of coronavirus outbreak.

Encouraging Vishwakarma to work on a mission mode for the safety of people from the coronavirus, the PM spoke about the ‘Arogya Setu’ app and advised for its downloading. Responding to it, Vishwakarma said that all party workers have downloaded the app.

“When I informed him that the party workers are engaged in preparing face masks for distribution, PM suggested for the use easily available scarf or towel in place of mask for covering the face,” said Vishwakarma adding, “the PM said that there is no need of wasting money and time over masks. People should use scarfs or towels for covering the face. The masks are essential for the doctors, health personnel and sanitary workers only”.

“Aur logon ke man mein kya bhav hai” (What people feel), enquired the PM to know people’s sentiment towards him, said Vishwakarma adding that he told that not only party workers but general public appreciate his work. At the end PM wished for the safety of people and end of these critical days.
