Students trapped in lockdown brought to Varanasi from Kota

 

Varanasi: As many as 727 students were brought from Kota in 28 buses of UPSRTC on Sunday. The arrival of buses started early morning and continued till late evening.

On the instruction of chief minister Yogi Adityanath the UPSRTC had arranged buses to bring the students trapped in Kota during lockdown. According to the district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma, the campus of a technical institute on Mohansarai by-pass road has been arranged for gathering the students.

The students were taken to the institute, where they were served water, juices, biscuit and other food stuff. The teams of health personnel examined the health condition of each student. They were asked to remain home quarantined for next 14 days. After health checkup they were sent to the nearest points of their respective homes by buses. Besides, 17 buses were engaged to send the students of neighbouring districts.
