UP CM presented cheque of Rs 20 crore by DGP towards ‘CM Distress Relief Fund’

 

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was presented a cheque of Rs 20 crore by State Director General of Police Hitesh Chandra Awasthi on behalf of police and PAC personnel on Wednesday.

Receiving the cheque towards ‘CM Distress Relief Fund’ at his residence, the CM complimented the police and PAC personnel for their committed fight against the Covid-19. He said in the manner police, through PVR 112, made available essential commodities and other facilities to the citizens during lockdown, has further enhanced their image.

The Principal Secretaries to the CM S P Goyal, Sanjay Prasad, ADG, Law and Order, PV Ramashastri, ADG, PAC, VK Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Information, Awanish Kumar Awasthi were present on the occasion.
