College manager killed in Jaunpur

Jaunpur: Sensation prevailed in the locality when the mutilated body of a person was found at Utirai village in Sikrara police station area of Jaunpur district on Sunday morning. The police reached the village after getting information.

According to reports, the killed person was identified as Sabhapati Dubey (65). He was the manager of an inter college. Some unknown miscreants killed him by hitting blunt object on his head when he was sleeping at his residence. He was living alone in his house. He was killed sometime on Saturday night. The incident came to light on Sunday morning.

Senior police officials including Asp (rural), CO Madiyahu and others reached the village and started investigation. The dog squad and forensic team were called to collect the evidences. The body was sent for postmortem.
