Court proceeding through Video Conference in UP
Uttar Pradesh to conduct Multiple Court proceedings through Virtual Courts
Varanasi: A number of initiatives have been taken by the Allahabad High Court to facilitate the Court proceedings through the Video Conferencing. Recently, a software for conducting the Court proceeding through Video Conference has been installed in the Allahabad High Court and in all the District Courts of Uttar Pradesh.
The Allahabad High Court and the District Courts of Uttar Pradesh can now conduct Multiple Court proceedings through Virtual Courts within the Court premises, without any internet connectivity.
This facility is completely secure and the connectivity is seamless. Existing infrastructure was used for the purpose and no additional expenditure was incurred in providing the above facilities.
Uttar Pradesh is first such State with the software based inhouse facility of Virtual Courts. Efforts are being made to further strengthen such services.
