DLW develops a remote controlled trolley called MEDBOT for its Hospital.

 

Varanasi: The Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) has tested it’s new innovative remote controlled medical trolley to serve isolated patients in the hospital.

This trolley has been designed and manufactured in-house by Loco Division , it is equipped with remote controlled device & having facility of one way communication with remote camera .

With this, DLW has shown exemplary work during lockdown by manufacturing this device in order to fight against COVID_19. This trolley can carry medicines, water food ,bed sheet etc to the patients, thus maintaining Social Distancing between patients and medics.The trolley is being further improved so that it can also facilitate two way communication between the relatives and the patients through mobile app.
