Eight more cases of COVID-19 in Varanasi
Number of positive cases rises to 123 in the district; 70 patients recover from illness
Varanasi: With eight new cases of COVID-19, the total number of positive cases rose to 123 in the district on Wednesday.
According to the district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma, out of 40 test reports received from BHU lab on Wednesday eight tested positive for COVID-19. So far 70 persons were discharged from the hospital after they tested negative. Presently there are 49 active cases of COVID-19 in the district.
