Two die, four missing after ash dyke of Reliance Power Plant breaks

 

Singrauli (MP): Two persons of a family died and four others are missing after a break in the ash dyke of a thermal power plant of Reliance Power on Friday evening. A team of the National Disaster Response Force or NDRF has been engaged in rescue operation.

According to district officials, the bodies of two persons -a 35-year-old man and an eight-year-old boy have been recovered. Four others including 35-year-old woman and two kids -nine-year-old daughter and three-year-old son are missing. It also caused damage to crops.

In a statement, Reliance Power reportedly said that the matter is being investigated.
