Yogi inaugurates e-puja at KVT

VARANASI: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated the facility of online puja at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Now, the devotees from far off place can perform virtual puja and rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva at Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

CM was on a visit to the city on Monday. He went to the temple in the evening to introduce the virtual puja facility for the devotees living in foreign country and far off places in the country. CM also took account of the progress in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project – Kashi Vishwanath Dham (Corridor). He was accompanied by the UP Minister Neelkanth Tiwari, divisional commissioner Deepak Agrawal and other officials. He also inaugurated the TrueNAT machine at Shiv Prasad Gupta divisional hospital to mark the beginning of COVID-19 test facilities for the patients turning up this hospital.

Later, the CM also held a meeting with officials at the circuit house to review the progress in development projects and works being done to check the spread of COVID-19. He asked the officials to take effective measures to prevent the community outbreak of coronavirus. He also asked to provide job opportunity to the migrant workers after skill mapping.

Earlier, the CM also visited Azamgarh to take first hand account of the status of COVID-19 infection in the district. He visited the district hospital to see the available facilities and healthcare arrangements. He also inaugurated the TrueNAT machine at the Azamgarh district hospital.
