Gangpur Town Area to be screened completely

 

Varanasi. After death of a 55-year-old resident of Gangapur area and detection of two positive cases in the family, the district administration has sealed the town area of Gangapur completely.

To combat the corona virus all necessary actions are being taken by the administration, said the district magistrate Kaushal raj Sharma adding that deceased’s family has been quarantined after getting corona positive test report. “We have done screening of his family members, and two of them including his wife and daughter-in-law were tested positive. They have been admitted to the DDU district hospital,” he said.

Now the total town area of Gangapur will be screened. People, who have symptoms of cough, cold, fever, TB or cancer, will be examined. There will be sampling of all suspected people who have found corona symptoms. The screening will be done in two or three days, he said.

The DM specifically emphasized that it is the effort of the administration to find a positive case and facilitate the medical treatment. He said that there is no need of panic, as two corona positive cases recovered and went to their home. Six patients are in isolation and being treated.
